IEEE, the world's largest professional organization advancing technology for humanity, announces the IEEE International Electric Vehicle Conference (IEVC) to be held 17– 19 December 2014, at the Florence Congress Centre in central Italy. The IEEE International Electric Vehicle Conference serves the global engineering community as a leadership platform to identify market, technology and standardization opportunities for electrified vehicles and related infrastructure.
• EV communications, in-vehicle network, connected vehicles, autonomous vehicles, platooning • EV standards, policy, education, market, supply chain and manufacturing • Wireless charging, conductive charging and superfast charging • EV mobility, ecodriving, fuel cell vehicles, hybrids, plug-ins, energy production
A complete list of topics for submission can be found here: www.ievc2014.org We are pleased to announce that abstract submissions (up to 5 pages) for the IEEE International Electric Vehicle Conference has been extended to July, 31st 2014.
IEEE-IEVC2014 International Committee also announces the “IEEE-IEVC 2014 PhD program”; it was established to encourage PhD students to contribute further in the field of electric vehicles. The Program is based on two sub-sections: PhD Best Paper Award, focused on outstanding technical contributions to EV’s technology, and the PhD Conference Travel Award, which recognizes excellences in the conference paper contributions, focused on high innovation and research topics of interest from IEVC participant companies.
