Ver más detalles en Summer School CIS http://ieee-cis.org/edu/schools/ Fecha límite de postulación: 25 de octubre, 2010 Notificación de la decisión: 1 de noviembre, 2010 Requerimientos de las becas de viaje IEEE CIS: 1.- Ser miembro estudiante al día del IEEE y de la Sociedad de Inteligencia Computacional (Computational Intelligence Society) del IEEE (un estudiante puede postular al mismo tiempo para membresía de la IEEE y el CIS). 2.- Certificado de estudiante de post-grado cursando un programa de Magíster o Doctorado, o estudiante de pregrado de último año realizando su trabajo de tesis. 3.- Carta de recomendación del profesor guía del estudiante o equivalente. 4.- Currículo Vitae incluyendo publicaciones (limitado a 3-4 páginas). 5.- Resumen de tres páginas en inglés del trabajo de investigación a presentar en la competencia de pósters de Inteligencia Computacional. Summer School Travel Scholarships (ENGLISH VERSION) EVIC 2010 VII IEEE LATIN-AMERICAN SUMMER SCHOOL ON COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE IV LATIN-AMERICAN SUMMER SCHOOL ON ROBOTICS Universidad de Chile, Santiago de Chile, 15-17 December 2010 www.evic.cl The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society offers 5 travel scholarships of US$500 each to help IEEE CIS student members not residing in Chile to attend the Summer School. See more details in Summer School CIS (http://ieee-cis.org/edu/schools/) Application deadline: October 25, 2010 Notification of acceptance: November 1, 2010 IEEE CIS Travel Scholarships requirements: 1. Registration as IEEE Student Member and as a member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (a student could apply at the same time for IEEE and CIS membership). 2. Certificate as graduate student at Master or Doctor Course, or senior undergraduate doing thesis work. 3. Letter of recommendation from the student's advisor or equivalent. 4. Curriculum Vitae including publications (limited to 3-4 pages). 5. Abstract of poster paper to be presented at the CIS Poster Competition, to be held during EVIC 2009, written in English (3 pages).
